Welcome | Akwaaba | Ekaabo

I am an information scientist with interests in knowledge organization and data management to support research in academia, government, and industrial.

I have previously undertaken research at the SunderlandLab in the faculty of forestry at UBC, where I explored solutions for improving sustainability and conservation information sharing in high forest communities. Prior to my time at UBC, I worked at the Institute of Statistical, Social and Economic Research at the University of Ghana where I provided data analysis and collection support in studies that evaluated baseline impacts of economic interventionist programs on poverty and household livelihood strategies.

I received my MLIS from UBC a year ago whilst concurrently working on a thesis for my Master of Science in Forestry degree supervised by Terry Sunderland. To find out more about my background, please feel free to preview my resume.
